Make this your home page

Please follow the instructions specific for the browser and version you are currently using.

Internet Explorer (windows)

  1. From the menu bar in your browser, go to Tools > Internet Options.
  2. Choose General from the tabs across the top of the popup window.
  3. Enter http://today.brown.edu in the Home Page Address field.
  4. Click OK.

Firefox (windows)

  1. From the menu bar in your browser go to Tools > Options.
  2. Choose Main tabs across the top of the window.
  3. Enter http://today.brown.edu in the Home Page field.
  4. If you wish Today at Brown to display every time Firefox starts, choose the "show my home page" option
  5. Click OK.

Safari (Mac)

  1. From the Safari menu bar in your browser choose Preferences.
  2. Choose General from the icons across the top of the popup window.
  3. Enter http://today.brown.edu in the Home Page field.
  4. If you wish Today at Brown to display every time Safari displays a new window, choose the "Home Page" option
  5. Click the red dot in the upper left to close the window.

Firefox (Mac)

  1. From the Firefox menu in your browser go to Preferences
  2. Choose Main from the icons across the top of the popup window.
  3. Enter http://today.brown.edu in the Home Page field.
  4. If you wish Today at Brown to display every time Firefox starts, choose the "show my home page" option
  5. Click OK.

America Online

  1. Sign on to America Online.
  2. Go to the Internet connection area.
  3. Click on "Go to the Web".
  4. In the Members menu, click on My AOL.
  5. Click on the Preferences Guide icon.
  6. Click on The Web.
  7. Click on Set Up Now.
  8. Select the Navigation index card tab.
  9. In the address box, type in http://today.brown.edu
  10. Click OK.
